Plan, develop and implement the publication of educational materials, focusing on global politics, world religions, and international relations. Direct and coordinate the development of educational materials; develop and implement guidelines for the company’s publications to enhance quality; oversee research activities and ensure the accuracy and authenticity of proposed material; review publication proposals and determine specific and general subject material for development; ensure that publications suit the particular backgrounds and educational levels of targeted readers; liaise with writers or contract specialists in proposed subject areas to determine feasibility of projects; work closely with design and editing personnel to accurately convey educational content; review manuscripts and make recommendations for changes; resolve problems concerning the development and publication of books, magazines, and teaching materials; review recent developments in global politics, world religions and international relations in order to conceptualize, plan and implement new content for publication; develop and execute a publication strategy for increasing market share and recognition on a national and international level; and confer with trade associations and industry representatives.

Master’s degree in Sociology, Political Science or in Communications. 6 months experience in the job or as a Consultant at a non-profit organization focusing on education. All candidates must have knowledge of and familiarity with research in social sciences including social movement studies and nongovernmental organizations.
